June arrives with longer days, warmer sunshine, and a gentle reminder that healing often happens in seasons we don't always expect.
This month, we recognize Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, PTSD Awareness Month, and Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month—important reminders that many struggles happen quietly, beneath the surface, where others may never fully see them.
Mental health doesn't discriminate. It affects fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, friends, neighbors, and even the people who seem strongest on the outside. Yet so many continue to suffer in silence, believing they have to carry everything alone.
May is also a time where we recognize Mother’s Day—and for many, that day can be filled with love, but also layered with grief, distance, or complicated emotions. For some, it’s a celebration. For others, it’s a quiet ache. And for many, it’s both at the same time.
June shines a light on the importance of speaking openly about mental health, trauma, and emotional well-being. For many living with PTSD, the effects of trauma can linger long after the event itself has passed. Healing is rarely linear, and recovery often requires patience, support, and tremendous courage. If that journey feels familiar to you, know that every step forward—no matter how small—matters.
This month also encourages us to pay attention to brain health and to recognize the challenges faced by individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Watching someone you love change through memory loss can be heartbreaking, and many caregivers carry emotional burdens that often go unseen. Their strength deserves recognition, too.
Whether you’re working through past trauma, managing anxiety, learning more about your mental health, or simply trying to get through the day… this space is for you.
June also brings Father's Day, a day that can hold many different emotions. For some, it is a joyful celebration filled with love and gratitude. For others, it may bring grief, longing, complicated relationships, or the ache of someone no longer here. However this day feels for you, your experience is valid.
At LuvMyCrazy, we believe there is room for all of it—the victories, the setbacks, the laughter, the tears, and the moments when you're simply doing your best to make it through the day.
As we move through June together, may you give yourself permission to rest when needed, ask for support when life feels heavy, and celebrate the progress you've made, even if no one else can see it.
Healing doesn't always look dramatic. Sometimes it looks like getting out of bed. Sometimes it looks like setting a boundary. Sometimes it looks like choosing to keep going.
Suicide is a challenging problem where simple solutions aren't an option. The one thing that is certain is that having a strong offense is the most effective protection. Each individual is embarking on their own path towards wellness, endeavoring to manage their unique challenges and possibilities.

Man Therapy is a suicide prevention initiative supported by evidence, established to achieve three main outcomes in men: 1) diminishing stigma, 2) promoting help-seeking actions, and 3) lowering thoughts of suicide. A $1.2 million five-year clinical study conducted in Michigan revealed strong proof that the campaign effectively achieves all of these goals.
Man Therapy is a mental health initiative aimed at men between the ages of 25 and 54 that uses humor to address topics such as depression, divorce, and anxiety in order to combat stigma

Understanding Mental Health with honesty, heart, and a touch of humor
There are many words people use when they talk about “crazy” . Some clinical. Some careless. Some misunderstood.
but here, “crazy” isn’t about instability – it’s about being human.
it’s about the messy, complicated, emotional, beautiful parts of life. It’s about grief and healing. Faith and doubt. Strength and vulnerability. It’s about learning to speak to ourselves –and others – with compassion instead of shame.
LuvMyCrazy exists to make space for real conversations about mental health, personal growth, and the courage it takes to keep going even when progress feels quiet.
Because sometimes what the world calls “crazy”… Is simply someone trying their best to survive, grow, and heal.
