LuvMyCrazy

The way we speak to others and the way we treat them matter.

**Your Tomorrow Starts Today **

HELLO AND WELCOME

Welcome to LuvMyCrazy, your GO-TO destination for all things mental health. Here, you'll find a wealth of information on mental health disorders across all ages, from children to the elderly. Whether you're seeking understanding for yourself, a loved one, or simply looking to educate yourself, I've got you. I believe in balancing the serious with a touch of humor, making your experience informative, comforting, and yes, sometimes even fun.

We all come from different walks of life and each stage of our journey matters. Some seasons last longer than others, some seasons we can't wait to end because it feels like torture, then other seasons we are enjoying what we are learning while other seasons we are on top of the world; those are the ones we want to stay in forever. No matter the season we are constantly evolving.

Assistance for Suicide Prevention and Depression

Suicide is a challenging problem where simple solutions aren't an option. The one thing that is certain is that having a strong offense is the most effective protection. Each individual is embarking on their own path towards wellness, endeavoring to manage their unique challenges and possibilities.

SPOTLIGHT

The Quiet Start of Something New

January

January doesn’t arrive with celebration—it arrives with stillness.
After the holidays fade, the world slows, and we’re often left sitting with emotions that didn’t disappear when December ended. For some, this quiet feels peaceful. For others, it feels heavy. And for many, it’s both.

January represents gentle beginnings. Not the kind fueled by resolutions or expectations, but the kind rooted in rest, reflection, and self-compassion. It’s a reminder that healing doesn’t need a deadline—and growth doesn’t have to be loud.

Domestic Violence Awareness

There is an ongoing need for awareness and intervention efforts to protect victims and prevent future incidents of domestic violence. If you or someone you know is in need of support, resources like the National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-SAFE) are available for assistance.

ManTherapy

Man Therapy is a suicide prevention initiative supported by evidence, established to achieve three main outcomes in men: 1) diminishing stigma, 2) promoting help-seeking actions, and 3) lowering thoughts of suicide. A $1.2 million five-year clinical study conducted in Michigan revealed strong proof that the campaign effectively achieves all of these goals.

Man Therapy is a mental health initiative aimed at men between the ages of 25 and 54 that uses humor to address topics such as depression, divorce, and anxiety in order to combat stigma

About LuvMyCrazy

Understanding Mental Health with a twist of humor

There are so many other words that can be used in place of "crazy," words that would be more proper, such as "mentally unstable" or "insane" if we're talking about mental health, of course. Or if we're talking about things that are eccentric, perhaps words such as "wildly enthusiastic" or "passionate," "risky" or "daring" are more proper.
