September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month—a time to bring compassion, understanding, and honest conversation to something that too often lives in silence.
Behind every statistic is a person. Someone’s mother, father, child, spouse, friend, coworker, or neighbor. Someone who may be carrying a battle we know nothing about.
Suicide prevention isn’t only about what happens in a moment of crisis. It’s also about creating a world where people feel safe enough to say, “I’m not okay.” It begins with connection—checking on the person who always seems strong, listening without judgment, and reminding people that they don’t have to reach their breaking point before they deserve help.
On September 10, World Suicide Prevention Day, we’re reminded of the importance of changing the narrative surrounding suicide and starting conversations that can replace silence and stigma with understanding and hope.
September is also National Recovery Month and World Alzheimer’s Month, giving us even more reasons to recognize the quiet battles people face—and the caregivers, families, friends, and communities who walk beside them.
Here at LuvMyCrazy, we believe mental health deserves to be talked about openly. We believe there is strength in asking for help, healing doesn’t have a timeline, and sometimes simply knowing someone is willing to listen can make a difference.

A Brotherhood for the men we love

Man Therapy is a suicide prevention initiative supported by evidence, established to achieve three main outcomes in men: 1) diminishing stigma, 2) promoting help-seeking actions, and 3) lowering thoughts of suicide. A $1.2 million five-year clinical study conducted in Michigan revealed strong proof that the campaign effectively achieves all of these goals.
Man Therapy is a mental health initiative aimed at men between the ages of 25 and 54 that uses humor to address topics such as depression, divorce, and anxiety in order to combat stigma
